St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Edison, NJ, is seeking a President to function as the Chief Executive Officer of the school. This individual reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools of the Diocese of Metuchen and governs collaboratively with the Board of Limited Jurisdiction of the school. The President embodies and articulates the mission of the school in all of its aspects and to all of its constituents. The President is the external face of the school to all constituents, particularly the parents and the alumni.
The President is responsible for developing a strong Catholic school community that upholds the teachings of the Catholic Church and operates within the framework of the Diocese of Metuchen.
The President and the Board of Limited Jurisdiction develop a strategic plan that guides the school in fulfilling its mission. The President is responsible for ensuring the financial stability of the school through a strong program of institutional advancement.
Qualifications:- Practicing Catholic
- Pastor reference letter testifying to active parish involvement
- Administrative experience in Catholic education, including management, finance and development
- Advance degree in relevant field
- Two professional letters of recommendation
