The Cathedral of Saint Francis of Assisi
Seeking to be renewed and strengthened by the Holy Spirit, the Diocese of Metuchen will again host a Pentecost Vigil, which will be held in person this year on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi in Metuchen.
Beginning the evening, Bishop James F. Checchio will celebrate the Vigil Mass at 5 p.m. All are invited to attend in person, though the Vigil Mass will also be live-streamed for those unable to be physically present.
Following the Mass, all will be invited to remain in the Cathedral for prayer, worship, and confession until midnight, when the Pentecost Vigil will conclude. Several speakers will also give witness talks throughout the evening.
