Part-time Administrative Assistant - St. James the Less
Part-Time Administrative Assistant
St. James the Less Parish
Jamesburg, NJ
St James the Less parish in Jamesburg, is looking for a part-time administrative assistant with management experience.
Responsibilities include but no limited to:
Assist with the day-to-day operation of the parish.
Set up the weekly parish bulletin and send it to the publisher.
Maintain the parish calendar.
Serve as the point of contact for funerals and weddings.
Proactive management of vendors.
Work with maintenance/custodian ordering parts, supplies and scheduling appointments.
Maintain office inventory and complete other general office duties (manage machines, printers, computers, video and sound equipment in church,).
Ensure security, and confidentiality of data as the Background coordinator.
Coordinate schedules, appointments ad bookings of funerals (24/7); weddings, baptisms, and special masses).
Weekly money count/deposits.
Must be proficient in MS office.
Excellent office and interpersonal skills.
Ensure office/church supplies are ordered.
Cemetery Supervisor.
Point person for all ministries within the Church (Lazarus, Rosary altar society, Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers),
Good communication skills, both in person and on the phone a must.
Salary per hour: $ 20.
