PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Diocese of Metuchen is among the five Roman Catholic dioceses in New Jersey to announce a six-week extension for survivors of clergy sexual abuse who may still want to file a claim through the Independent Victims Compensation Program (IVCP).
PISCATAWAY – Starting June 15, the New Jersey Independent Victim Compensation Program (IVCP) will begin accepting claims related to the sexual abuse of minors
Preparations are moving forward for the special program commissioned by the five Catholic dioceses in New Jersey – among them the Diocese of Metuchen – that will compensate eligible victims who were sexually abused as minors by clergy.
Washington, D.C.--Kenneth R. Feinberg and Camille S. Biros, two noted victims’ compensation experts, have been named Administrators of a New Jersey state-wide Compensation Program – approved and supported by all five Roman Catholic Dioceses located in the state.
