We are humbled to share some incredible news regarding the generosity of our Diocese. On November 7, 2025, the Diocese of Metuchen sent a donation of $44,000.00 to Catholic Relief Services.
This gift was specifically directed toward the EMECA (Europe, Middle East, and Central Asia) Emergency Fund. In regions currently facing extreme hardship and displacement, these funds are more than just numbers—they represent food, clean water, and safe shelter for our most vulnerable brothers and sisters.
In a recent letter to Archbishop James F. Checchio, the President and CEO of CRS, Sean L. Callahan, expressed his deep appreciation for your compassion.
"I am humbled by your generosity and inspired by your compassion. Your kindness is the very embodiment of Jesus' teachings to care for our most needy brothers and sisters..."
We are honored to be part of the global CRS family, ensuring that even when we are miles apart, the light of Christ reaches those in the darkest of circumstances.
Thank you for living your faith and for your unwavering support.
