The St. Francis Cathedral School is looking for a Middle School (Grades 6-8) Science teacher who is committed and faithful to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and Magisterium. We are also looking for a candidate who is mission driven, faithful, dynamic, and is, or has the capacity to grow into, a highly effective instructor to meet the developmental intellectual and spiritual needs of our students.
The Middle School Science teacher position would be responsible for growing in knowledge of curriculum and related resources, utilizing best instructional practices, and growing in knowledge of each individual student in order to deliver highly effective and differentiated instruction for students in the discipline of science for grades 6, 7, and 8.
In addition to instructional responsibilities, the teacher is responsible for collaborating and planning with colleagues, engaging in relationships with parents and community members, participating in professional development opportunities, and addressing the needs of the whole child.
