In concert with the Holy Father’s Holy Year on Hope in 2025, this introductory course will propose that the study of the last things, end times and creation of a new heaven and new earth pivots on the axis of hope. In this six-week course, we will explore the major themes of eschatology: the Second Coming, Heaven, hell and purgatory. We will also examine the resurrection of the body, particular judgment and final judgment.
