The Office of Child and Youth Protection, in collaboration with VIRTUS, will be hosting a follow-up session for all Parish/School Background Coordinators within the Diocese of Metuchen. We continue to work closely with VIRTUS and Selection.com to develop and institute a Safe Environment background check process that is both thorough and user friendly.
As we continue to navigate the new system together, we require that all background coordinators attend one of these follow-up sessions. During these follow-up sessions, we will go over what is needed to prepare and submit the $1.00 report. Pat Neal, Director of VIRTUS® Programs, will go over some of the features that you (the Local Administrator/Background Coordinator) will have on Virtus. At the conclusion of the tutorial, we will will be taking questions.
The follow-up sessions will occur on these dates and times:- Session 1: Tuesday, May 2 from 10 AM to 11 AM
- Session 2: Tuesday, May 2 from 2 PM to 3 PM
- Session 3: Tuesday, May 2 from 6 PM to 7 PM
Please allot a portion of your day to attend one of these sessions. We will be limiting each session to 40 participants. Please review your schedule to make arrangements to attend one of these sessions. If a session fills up, please register for another available session.
