2026 Bishop's Annual Appeal One in Christ Called to Love & Serve
This year, as the Diocese of Metuchen launches the 2026 Bishop’s Annual Appeal, we do so in the spirit of renewal and unity inspired by our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. His pontificate calls us to embrace the Church’s mission with courage and love, echoing his vision for a community united in Christ and dedicated to service. The theme for this year’s Appeal, “One in Christ: Called to Love and Serve,” invites every member of our diocesan family to respond to the Good News by living as intentional disciples. Guided by Christ’s example and teaching, we are reminded that our faith finds its fullest expression in acts of love and service—especially to those most in need.
Through your support of the Bishop’s Annual Appeal, you help sustain vital ministries that nurture faith, foster hope, and extend charity throughout our parishes and communities. Together, let us answer the call to be “One in Christ,” loving and serving as Christ’s hands and heart in the world.
