NJ Network of Catholic School Families

The mission of the New Jersey Network of Catholic School Families is to educate and mobilize individuals and organizations to be advocates of public policies that support Catholic school.

Established in 1996, under the authority of the New Jersey Catholic Bishops, the Network works with the New Jersey Catholic Conference to inform parents and Catholic school supporters of federal and state legislation which will impact on Catholic education. The Network recommends lobbying techniques appropriate for nonprofit tax exempt groups and organizes members to effectively communicate with legislators.

Currently, the Network is supporting the urban scholarship tax credits a bill that would provide tax incentives to corporations that give scholarships to students from failing public schools to schools in low-income urban areas.
