Prayer for the Renewal of Church in Perth Amboy

Heavenly Lord, You bless us with the life of the Spirit
and name us as your children. We thank you for the faith
that has made us a united people, a people living and
growing in love and service.
Your holiness and your providence have built up what
we know and love as our parish families of Perth
Amboy. As we join in listening, learning and laboring
through this time of discernment for our common future,
give us wisdom and courage to do your will and be
people of grace, ready to respond to the work of the
Church, to transform the hopes of the lowly and find
You as the Way, the Truth and the Life.
May the intercession of Mary, our mother and example
of discipleship, guide us in our task. We ask this with
the direction and the unity of the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit, One God forever and ever. AMEN
