Month 1 - Baby is 1/4 inch long.

Month 2 - Baby's heart is functioning.

Month 3 - Arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet and toes are fully formed.

Month 4 - Baby can suck his thumb.

Month 5 - Baby weighs 1 pound.

Month 6 - Baby is able to hiccup.

Month 7 - Baby is 14 - 16 inches long.

Month 8 - Most body organs are now developed.

Month 9 - Lungs are mature. Baby can now survive outside mother's body.
