PISCATAWAY – The Diocese of Metuchen’s Office of Respect for Life, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Newark, will sponsor the 2016 Critical Life Issues Conference on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the St. John Neumann Pastoral Center, 146 Metlars Lane, Piscataway.
Themed “Celebrating Life – Moved by Mercy,” the 15th annual conference will take place during nationally recognized Respect Life Month and will cover topics including end-of-life care, contraception and abortion, human trafficking and disabilities.
Guest speakers for the conference include Rev. Tad Pacholczyk, PhD, director of education, The National Catholic Bioethics Center; David Hajduk, PhD, speaker, teacher and author; Theresa Flores, LSW, MS, human trafficking survivor, author and victim’s advocate; and Renée Bondi, singer, speaker and author.
