Veteran’s Day Masses to be held at two Middlesex County cemeteries

SOMERSET – The Diocese of Metuchen’s Department of Education and Foundation for Education will sponsor an Autumn Tricky Tray on Friday, Nov. 6, at The Imperia, 1714 Easton Ave., Somerset. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the first ticket will be called at 8 p.m. Proceeds from the event will support tuition aid for eligible families with children attending a Catholic school in the diocese.
All are welcome to attend. The cost is $50 per person, which includes a hot dinner buffet, one free drink ticket and one sheet of tier one tickets to be used for prizes valued up to $250. No admission tickets will be sold at the door and no one under 18 will be admitted.

Rev. Michael Gromadzki, pastor of St. Mary of Ostrabrama Parish, South River, will celebrate a Veteran’s Day Mass at 10 a.m. on Nov. 11 at the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the grounds of Holy Cross Cemetery, Cranbury South River Road, Jamesburg. 

At the same time, Rev. John Kavas, parochial vicar at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral Parish, Metuchen, will celebrate Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Hoes Lane, Piscataway. All the faithful are invited to attend.
