Diocesan Indian and Sri Lankan Apostolate to hold cultural Mass

EAST BRUNSWICK – The Diocese of Metuchen’s Office of Multi-Cultural Ministry and the diocesan-sponsored Indian and Sri Lankan Apostolate will hold a cultural Mass at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 27 at St. Bartholomew Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. All are welcome.
The Mass, a celebration of the Indian and Sri Lankan cultural heritage, will be preceded by a praying of the rosary in the church and a Marian procession. The homilist at the Mass will be Rev. Antony Arockiadoss, MSC, parochial vicar of St. Bartholomew Church, who also serves as coordinator of the diocese’s Indian and Sri Lankan Apostolate.
Among those present will be Catholics from Sri Lanka; Goa; Mangalore; Gujarat; Tamil Nadu; Kerala; and other parts of India.
